Quito, Ecuador, two bedroom, one bathroom furnished apartment for rent. This top floor, corner unit apartment boasts wonderful city and mountains views, has an internet connection with Wi-Fi enabled access, land line, TV set and DVD player, no Cable TV, hot water/calefon, washing machine, iron and hair blow dryer.

There are an anti-noise windows in both bedrooms. Quito is a loud city, but it'll be quiet in your rental.

One bedroom has a queen-size bed and the other bedroom has a twin-size bed and a lazy boy style recliner. Sheets are 100% cotton, two sheet sets for each bed. There are plenty of towels and blankets.

Kitchen has a gas range, refrigerator, tea kettle, toaster, glassware, pots, pans and cooking utensils.

You'll enjoy great panoramic view of Colonial Quito on the semi- closed terrace on one side of the apartment. The balcony on the other side of the residence, overlooking hill El Panecillo and monument of the Virgin of Quito on top of it.

The apartment building is located in Centro Historico Quito, two blocks from Plaza Santo Domingo, in between La Ronda with its galleries, shops, cafes, restaurants, and recreational centre Qmandá, cultural and fitness center with the adjoining urban park.

There is easy access to local transportation: trolley, buses, and plenty of taxis.

La Ronda tourist's police station is located at Plaza Cumanda, right in front of apartment building, trolley stop is across Plaza Cumanda and up the stairs. Plaza Cumanda is small and it's dead end, so there is no much vehicular traffic there.

Welcome package, which is included in the rent: bottled water, toilet paper, hand soap, dish-washing soap.

Minimum stay two weeks (14 nights) - $475

$475 per 14 nights is appr $34 per night.

$700 per month
Month-to month tenancy is available, a tenant can terminate a lease at any time with 30 days notice.
All utilities are included, paid by landlord.

Deposits/Payments:
A non refundable deposit of $250 is required at the time of booking for the reservation to be confirmed, paid through Paypal. This deposit will be applied toward Rent Payment. The rest is due in cash upon check in

Short term (up to three months rent) refundable damage deposit is $200, payable at the time of your arrival. More than three months rent - refundable damage deposit is $700, payable at the time of your arrival.

CANCELLATION POLICY

No refund in case of shortening your stay after arrival.

PETS:
Pets are allowed on a case by case basis. I am willing to allow cat and small or middle sized, properly trained dog.
$50 additional monthly fee for every cat or dog on top of agreed monthly rent.

My wife and I are just concluding an enjoyable three month stay at Liliya and Leo’s pleasant and comfortable apartment in Quito’s Centro Historico. Our hosts were very hospitable and helpful, educating us about the history and culture of the city.
The apartment is comfortably furnished, including cable TV and internet. Liliya has even taken the time to include a small library of books, some of which include information on basic Spanish and travel in S. America. She also has a collection of movies on DVD, and games for those rainy nights when there’s nothing much of interest on TV.
It should be noted by any prospective renter that the apartment is on the fourth floor and there is no elevator, so be prepared for the daily workout. Additionally, Liliya believes that microwave ovens are bad for your health, hence no microwave is included. But that being said, you will enjoy your stay in this apartment as it’s pleasant, clean, conveniently located for travel to other interesting parts of the city, and the hosts are friendly and helpful.

My wife and I spent a wonderful month in Quito, Ecuador and the most Important part of any vacation is your accommodations! We were very lucky to choose Liliya & Leo's remodeled 2 bedroom apartment in the historic district of Quito. They provide a charming, clean, completely furnished apartment including Internet, Cable TV,DVD player, fridge, washing machine, coffee pot, toaster, and new high quality mattress's with clean sheets and plenty of extra blankets if the nights cool down a bit. The apartment complex is totally secure, safe and you can add your own padlock to your door which already had 2 excellent locks! We liked that feature because we travel with an expensive laptop.

The apartment is located on the 4th floor which does make it a little tiring climbing the stairs, but it's more than worth the climb after you are relaxing on the terrace enjoying the wonderful views and the breeze with your morning coffee. The location was the best for us... Only a 2 minute walk from all the public transportation and the apartment is located at the end of a dead end street so it's very quiet at night- and a added bonus- there is a guard near the entrance to the apartment complex that is always there for added security 24 hours a day. Also within a 2 minute walk you have access to very fine dining or in the other direction local dining averaging only $1.50 to $3.00 a meal!!!

Liliya & Leo will explain everything you need to know about their city and provide you a detailed map of Centro Historico in Quito. They will also explain what places and which people to be careful of depending on the time of year. (All cities have their not so good areas and it's good that Liliya & Leo offer this help... for us being seasoned travelers we found this help and honesty priceless) We highly recommend staying at this apartment, it's a very fair price for what you get. We checked out other apartments while in Quito and there are some dirty, infested places for cheap prices- so be careful. We will definitely stay in Liliya & Leo's apartment again when we return- if it's available...

The landlord and landlady are a pleasure to deal with, and the location cannot be beaten if you want to be in the heart of the Centro Historico, right next to a Trole stop and also just steps away from the weekend nightlife of La Ronda. There are caretakers who live on the premises, and security guards patrol right outside the gate pretty much 24/7, but since the apartment is on the top floor, its also quiet. The furniture is almost all new, and the bed is one of the best Ive ever slept on. We stayed here four months in total, but its location would make it ideal for shorter breaks too. One warning: its on the third floor and there is no lift, so take it easy going up the stairs if youve just arrived and havent yet acclimated. We loved living here - the local shop and hotel owners are very friendly, and the apartment quickly felt like home."
